- Analysis of a distributed machine architecture with a master PLC and a sub-control system
- Design of the coupling (free protocol selection)
- Development of a communication and data model between the controls
- Architectural concept for the centralized provision of B&R mapp components
- Investigation of the real-time behavior as well as the consistent state depiction between the master and sub-control
- Implementation and validation of the concept in a prototype setup with at least two controls
The suitable prerequisites are:
- Studies in electrical engineering or automation technology
- Interest in industrial control systems and distributed architectures
- Basic knowledge of B&R Automation Studio is an advantage
- Independent and structured working style
