Your tasks:

  • Preparation and organization of installation assignments including order clarification, provision of spare parts and tools as well as planning of travel activities
  • Execution of installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and modification assignments on machines, systems, and molds
  • Creation of technical documentation, operating instructions, and training materials
  • Conducting training sessions for customers as well as internal training
  • Telephone and written analysis and resolution of malfunctions on machines, systems, and molds
  • Recording, processing, and documentation of customer inquiries
  • Technical coordination in collaboration with internal departments and external product specialists
  • Supporting Global Service/Sales through technical expertise
  • Customer and internal consulting for the optimization of machine processes

The appropriate qualifications are:

  • Completed apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, toolmaker or a comparable technical qualification
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken; knowledge of Spanish or other languages is an advantage
  • Strong customer orientation and high solution orientation when dealing with technical issues
  • Independent, structured way of working as well as high self-motivation
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • Confident handling of MS Office
  • High willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 70%)
  • Valid driver’s license class B
  • Comprehensive electrical engineering knowledge or corresponding authorizations
  • Confident, friendly, and professional demeanor in direct customer contact
