Your Tasks
- Creation and implementation of purchasing strategies to achieve the goals in collaboration with the planning department
- Development and implementation of supplier management in the responsible merchandise groups
- Conducting market and price analyses in series and with new product developments / further development of existing products
- Further development of the existing supplier portfolio including the identification and qualification of new supply sources
- Tendering and awarding contracts as well as conducting price and contract negotiations
- Monitoring ratio measures in collaboration with related departments, e.g. R&D, production, etc.
- Regular reporting on the responsible merchandise group(s)
The Suitable Requirements are:
- Completed technical or business studies in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable courses
- Several years of professional experience in (strategic) purchasing
- Strong technical understanding
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation abilities
- Enjoyment in conceptualizing and implementing strategic purchasing in mechanical engineering
- Confident handling of MS-Office
- Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Resilience, teamwork, and assertiveness with cross-departmental and entrepreneurial thinking
