Your Tasks
- Development and implementation of procurement strategies to achieve the goals in collaboration with scheduling
- Development and implementation of supplier management in the responsible commodity groups
- Conducting market and price analyses in series production and for new product developments / further developments of existing products
- Further development of the existing supplier portfolio including identification and qualification of new sources
- Tendering and awarding of contracts as well as conducting price and contract negotiations
- Monitoring of ratio measures in collaboration with adjacent departments, e.g. R&D, production, etc.
- Regular reporting on the responsible commodity groups
The suitable requirements are:
- Completed technical or business studies in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable degree programs
- Several years of professional experience in (strategic) procurement
- Pronounced technical understanding
- Excellent communication skills and negotiating skills
- Enjoyment in conceptualizing and implementing strategic procurement in mechanical engineering
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Resilience, teamwork and assertiveness with cross-departmental and entrepreneurial thinking
